We’re all about enhanced surveying combined with excellent (you might say refreshing) service and logistics.
The whole reason we exist is to keep people from harm’s way. We assess, so we can protect.
Your work equipment is in the best hands with Vulcan Inspection Services, no matter what it is. Our skilled Engineer Surveyors are trained by the very best team and are experts when it comes to inspecting your:
- Lifting equipment
- Pressure systems
- Electrical installations
- Local exhaust ventilation (LEV)
- Power press
We take the safety of your machinery as seriously as you do. We carry out the most thorough examinations, keeping you and your people safe and your business operational.
At Vulcan Inspection Services we want to ensure that the inspection of your plant and machinery is completed with as little disruption to your business as possible. We make sure you understand what to expect from us at every step of the inspection process. We know everything there is to know when it comes to the relevant regulations. We keep you legally compliant and we do it around you and your business. If you’d prefer a long-range plan of examinations, no problem. If your plant moves from location to location, we can work around that too. The important thing is that we never stop focusing on the safety of your equipment and your people.
Our team of experts and our drive for what we do is what defines us. Everything we do has been tried and tested. And we’ve never been better, you have our word.
Our real time reporting means our Engineer Surveyors report on the go and can submit their findings even before they’ve left your site. Using our eReport tool, every one of our external partners can access in-depth information about their plant and machinery, track trends and keep track of actions in just a few clicks. It’s that easy.

Fixed electrical wiring inspections can include everything from a small visual check of accessible components to a large-scale project that requires full survey & testing, job-specific risk assessments, a documentation review and more. The fixed wiring inspections are governed under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
Power presses and press brakes inspections with interlocking guards need to examined every six months, while items with fixed guards must be examined at 12 monthly intervals. Power presses are regulated under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and the legislation is supported by an approved Code of Practice.
Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV)
LEV systems are controlled by the COSHH Regulations, the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002 and the Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2002.
