We’re delighted to share that we will be bringing 2022 to an end by welcoming two new businesses to the BES Group.  Strainstall UK and Mimic have joined us from James Fisher and Sons plc, global provider of specialised services to the marine, energy and defence industries worldwide.

Finding companies that share our customer focused approach and put safety above everything else, continues to be important to us and we’re extremely excited to have done just that with Strainstall UK and Mimic. Together, they will add around 80 fantastic people to our team, and we’re delighted to have them on board.

These are the ninth and tenth businesses we’ve added to the BES Group since 2019 and our fourth and fifth this year alone.  We’ve worked hard to ensure we are growing in a way that supports the needs of our customers, providing them with access to even more of the very best risk management solutions supplied by an enhanced team of the very best people.

“We are absolutely delighted to be growing our Group further with these acquisitions from James Fisher Group.  Both Strainstall UK and Mimic businesses, bring with them a group of highly skilled people to complement our existing colleagues. We know that both businesses will have a successful future as part of the BES Group, strengthening our solution offerings, in the area of Asset Reliability.

This is an exciting time for both sets of customers and all our people.  Growth by acquisition is an important part of the future growth of our organisation, alongside organic growth, and welcoming two more brilliant businesses to our Group is a great way to end the year,” said John Campbell, CEO of BES Group.

“I am thrilled that Mimic is joining BES Group. Mimic with its expertise in maritime condition monitoring, will complement BES Group’s established Asset Reliability business, it’s an excellent fit, and will allow Mimic to lead the way in maritime condition monitoring for many years to come,” said Paul Mount, MD of Mimic.

“I am incredibly excited about what the future holds for the Strainstall UK team as part of the BES Group. With a shared focus on providing customers with the very best service, Strainstall UK is a good fit with the Asset Reliability business, and I see great opportunities for growth,” said Jonathan Simpson Tarling, MD of Strainsall.
